How do I care for my soy candles?
First burn should be for approximately 3-4 hours minimum or until an even pool of melted soy wax forms in the container.
When extinguishing, make sure to let it harden again before relighting or moving to another room.
Also trim the wick to about 6mm.
You may notice that the wick curls if you do not trim it.
This is because it is a cotton wick and it is important to trim to stop it from curling and wick going in to the wax.
To extinguish the flame it is recommended to use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the wax and straighten before trimming.
Soy wax has a lower melting point so it is best to keep in a cool, dry place.
How do I ensure safety around my soy scented candles?
* Never leave a burning candle unattended
* Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets
* Always light candles in draft free areas
* Always keep burning candles away from flammable objects and furnishings.
What ingredients are in your candles?
Wax - We use 100% natural soy wax. providing safe and natural soy candles.
Wick - Wick is made out of all natural fibres and contains no harmful lead or metals.
Fragrance Oils are a blend of essential oils and aroma ingredients and are non toxic and subtle in smell.
We do not use any additives. At times, yo umay notice colour fading and this is due to UV light and the non-use of a UV inhibitor additive.
We prefer our soy candles to be as natural as possible.
How do I order?
1. Shop with security and ease in our online store. You will require a valid credit card, Paypal Account, AfterPay and ZipPay.
2. You can email us for assistance. We will ensure we get back to you asap within business hours 8.30am - 5.00pm AEST.
Making an Order
Placement of an order constitutes entering into the terms and conditions set out in this section. All orders will be confirmed by email from Wick'd Candles. Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full and you rproducts are handcrafted for you.
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order please immediately contact us. Once payment for an order has been accepted, cancellation is at the discretion of Wick'd Candles. Once orders have been shipped orders can not be cancelled.
What is the refund policy?
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Wick'd Candles if an order has not been delivered. Upon notification we will investigate and ensure the order is delivered and received.
Refunds will not be given for late delivery outside outside of delivery guarantees. In the unfortunate event that an order has been damaged through the delivery process we will replace the damaged items. In the event you would not like a replacement, we will refund the credit card used for the value of the total transaction or the value of the damaged items. If you need to return an item, please contact us.
Wick'd Candles offers express delivery nationally with Australia Post or Courier Service (depending on the delivery location) and shipping is at a fixed rate
Deliveries are Monday to Friday. It is recommended that a delivery address is used where there will be someone present e.g. a work address.
Our aim is to provide excellent customer service and ensure your shopping experience with us is a positive one. We will do our best to ensure all communication with Wick'd Candles is professional, easy and straight forward. If you have any concerns at all, please contact us.
Do you accept special orders?
We do accept special orders so if you have a favourite soy candle scent then just ask if we can get it in for you.
All we request is that special orders are a minimum of $50
SCENTS Available that are not in our current range can be sourced.
We can also COLOUR the wax in any of your favourite colours.
